Railway Inspection

Railway Inspection

Rail inspection is the practice of examining rail tracks for flaws that could lead to catastrophic failures. Recent railway accidents in India and their frequency of occurrence have led to the need for developing sophisticated inspection systems. Studies have shown that most of the railway accidents occur due to deterioration in the track sub-surface conditions and lack of maintenance. Manual inspection methods are tedious and sometimes lead to inaccurate results. So, development of an automatic inspection system with high accuracy and reliability is imperative.

"Railway Inspection Tool" developed by nanoPix works on ImageIn technlogy which is a fully automated system to monitor railway tracks with nearly 100% accuracy.
